Could this Creepy Urban Legend Be True?

The now abandoned Bull Street Sanitarium in Columbia, South Carolina is home to a very creepy urban legend. Anytime you have a place like this that's now abandoned, you're going to have a ton of creepy stories lurking behind it. Sometimes these stories are true and other times stories they're  made up to frighten people in the surrounding area. 

But could this story actually be true?
