Rolling Hills Asylum

Rolling Hills Asylum was built and established in 1827 in the small town of East Bethany, New York. This placed operated as an infirmary, tuberculosis hospital, lunatic asylum, nursing home, and orphanage. Most who passed through the doors of this place were really sick or depressed. But the problem was that eventually the majority who ended up here were people who had no place else to go.

Rolling Hills Asylum has over 1,700 documented deaths, and some say that’s only a fraction of the true amount of deaths that happened within its walls. With that many deaths in one place, you’re bound to have restless spirits moving about.

What about the the countless stories of misery and sadness that aren’t known. I’m pretty sure that energy doesn’t leave, it sits and marinates and plays like an old movie. Then you have to think about the things that have found their way to this place. Dark entities drawn to it by the torture, fear, and pain. Whatever the case may be, this is one place you don’t want to go in alone.
