The Most Recognized Ghost Picture Ever Taken

The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall

The picture of the Brown Lady Raynham Hall is one of the most famous pictures of a ghost ever taken. The strange part is that the picture was taken in 1936 and is over 70 years old, so a picture that old is hard to fake especially around that time period. The photo was taken by some photographers who were taking pictures for Country Life Magazine. The photographers accidentally caught the image of this apparition, they weren't looking for ghosts or anything paranormal but ended up taking one of the most iconic pictures of all time.

The ghost of the brown lady is rumored to be a woman by the name of Dororthy Warpole who lived in Raynham hall with her husband. He found out she was cheating on him and he went off the deep end and chained her up until she died of small pox around 1726. Ever since then she has been wandering the Raynham Hall scaring anyone and everyone that sees her. Imagine seeing this apparition while you're in the hall, would you be scared?

The sad part is some say shes wandering the halls looking for her 5 children, sadly she will never find them on this side of reality yet she keeps searching for them. Many famous people including King George IV even saw  her. He was so spooked by her apparition that he vowed NEVER to return back to that place.
