Once a year the small town of Romeo, Michigan becomes a must-see for all those who love Halloween. The Terror on Tillson event is Michigan’s largest neighborhood funded Halloween attraction. Each year tens of thousands of visitors make their way to Romeo for the Halloween event. Over 2,000 trick or treaters wander Tillson street in search of tricks and treats. Even though trick or treating is only a couple of hours, people still make their way to see all of the awesome Halloween displays.

At only a little more than 2 blocks long, just about all of the 32 houses have some kind of Halloween display set up. The area residents help and work together. They also help keep the area safe during Halloween and during trick or treating. A majority of the decorations are handmade by the residents. Some of them even hand out other goodies and have activities for any visitor who comes to their door.

If you’re planning on visiting and want to make the most out of your experience. Make sure you park instead of drive, it’s going to be bumper to bumper. There is no cost for the event, there is some parking that you can pay for, but the majority is free.

The Sea Witch Halloween Parade And Fiddlers Festival

Every year during October, hundreds of people come to Rehoboth, Delaware for the annual Halloween parade. The Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival takes place from Friday, October 29th to Sunday, October 31st. The fun-filled 2-day event features an array of Halloween-related activities for the entire family.

They have a costume and a dog parade. Each Halloween parade has contests for the best costume, so it’s a possibility you could win and your dog. They also have various magic shows and street performers. You can forget about all of the art exhibits, the creepy monster art will keep you amazed. The broom tossing event will be sure to bring out your inner witch.

Halloween Festival And Parade

The parade isn’t the only thing going on at the Sea Witch Halloween parade. They also have the Fiddlers Festival and trick or treating trail. The trick-or-treat trail is the big highlight for the young ones and adults who like candy. The kids will also be able to enjoy a spooky and educational scavenger hunt. This is the type of festival where you’re going to need the entire day.

The Sea Witch Festival began in the early 1990s and has grown in popularity since. Thousands of families across the entire East Coast come and join in on the fun and festivities. They also have a magical history tour that takes you on a trolley ride. You can learn about the town’s history and the history behind the parade and events.

New Orleans’s Halloween Parade

If you’re ever in the New Orleans area for Halloween, the Krewe of Boo parade is a must visit. Founded in 2007, the Krewe of Boo Halloween parade started as a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina. After a couple of years in hiatus, the people of New Orleans thought it was time to bring it back. So in 2013, the Krewe of Boo Halloween parade was in full swing. The original parade was created by Blaine Kern Sr. the man is known as “Mr. Mardis Gras.” He is the mastermind behind the papier-mache floats that Mardi Gras is known for. However, when the event was resurrected, it was taken over by his son.

The Kern family has been creating floats since the 1930s. Some of their floats have even been seen in various parts of the world. Each year the floats get even more detailed and complex than the year before. Their parade floats are said to be some of the best on the planet. The parade also showcases all aspects of their creation process, from prop design to float painting. They even show their complex process from 3D scanning to robotic sculpting.

The parade has 450 riders, 15 floats, and 35 marching bands, and various dance crews. Since you’re in New Orleans, and it’s a party city, you know there’s dancing involved. There are various krewes that also keep the crowds entertained. It’s not only dancing but there are tons of crazy costumes and lights they also display. It’s the kind of Halloween parade you have to see in person.
