Halloween Night At Waverly Hills
Louisville, Kentucky’s Waverly Hills Sanatorium is giving one lucky person a chance to win a Halloween night stay. Bidding for the Halloween sleepover started on eBay on the first of October. The contest will run until October 10th, so you still have some time if you enter before the 10th. Right now the bidding is around $2,500 and is expected to rise. All the proceeds will go to the Waverly Hills Historical Society. They will use the money to renovate the sanatorium in the near future.
Some of you may be thinking the bid may be too high. However, the winner can bring up to 20 people to spend the night. If you and 20 people throw in money, you could then easily afford to throw in a bid. The guests will sleep in a fully renovated bunkhouse on the grounds of the complex. Guests will also be able to roam around the grounds from 8 pm to 4 am on Halloween night. I can only imagine the things they will capture when they venture through the haunted complex.
Organizers are encouraging whoever wins the prize to bring their own equipment. Things like microphones, cameras, and any other devices that will help gather evidence. The only thing that ISN’T allowed is Ouija boards. There’s already a large number of negative presences that are said to reside there. Bringing that would be like opening a dark gate.
