Looking For Your Next Haunted Stay? Arizona’s Copper Queen Hotel Is it!

The Copper Queen Hotel

The Copper Queen Hotel

Bisbee, Arizona’s Copper Queen Hotel is one of the oldest and longest-running hotels in the South West. The hotel has been in operation since it first opened its doors back in 1902. The town itself got its start around the year 1877 because of the large amounts of silver, lead, and copper veins were located in the area. Once word the mining was booming and profitable, the town began to grow.

The mines continued to flourish until around the year 1977 when they finally ran dry. It became a ghost town but eventually, it picked back up with the influx of investors, artists, and others moved in. The problem is that not EVERYONE from the old days left, especially at the Copper Queen Hotel.
