The Most Haunted Road On The Planet

When it comes to worlds most haunted roads, Colorado’s Riverdale Road is at the top of the list. It’s located in Thornton, Colorado and is a 11 mile stretch of road that has been in numerous ghost stories and legends. It’s said the the stretch of road is actually cursed and anything that sits on or near the road will suffer at the wrath of this curse.

Many who have been to this creepy location say they won’t go back. You have others who say they didn’t witness anything but that the area is extremely creepy and that they felt like something was watching them the entire time. One of the most infamous stories is that of a house that was built along the roadway some decades ago. It’s said that the man who lived there was actually possessed by the devil and that he eventually killed his family and burnt down the house before he killed himself.

The gates of the home are said to be one of the gates to hell and there have been reports of dead animals being left at the gates by satanic cults. It’s also believed that a group of satanists actually live near the property and are frequently seen on this road. The stories even stretch back over a span of a 100 years, it’s said that Native American shape shifters have also made residence close to where the road is at. It’s said that some people have actually seen these animals turn into people and vice versa while traveling along the roadway.

There are other stories of blood splattered signs that say HELP ME, imagine driving along that roadway and seeing a sign with blood that says that, would you be freaked out? Now while many of these stories can’t actually be backed up by any kind of proof, just the thought of them creeps me out a bit.
