The Purge, The Walking Dead, And Halloween 4 Set For Halloween Horror NightsThe Purge, The Walking Dead, And Halloween 4 Set For Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights 2021

If you’re a fan of the Purge, The Walking Dead, or Halloween, you’re in for a tree. Universal Studios Hollywood announced even more mazes for its annual Halloween Horror Nights. The event starts on Thursday, Sept. 9th, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 31. This year the Universal Tram will be transformed into a horror-filled ride called “Terror Tram.” Guests will also be able to partake in the Ultimate Purge. Patrons will take a journey through various films from the “The Purge” series on Universals backlot. You have to fight to stay alive and hope you don’t become a victim in this horror maze.

Michael Myers is also back in the Halloween 4 area where guests will have to outmaneuver Michael. He will hunt you as if he were hunting his niece Jaime through Haddonfield. On top of that Horror Nights is going to honor the 11th season of AMC’s hit show “The Walking Dead.” You’ll have to maneuver around the zombies through the maze. You’ll feel like you’re in a zombie Apocolypse as you make your way and try not to get eaten.

The “America’s Best Dance Crew” winners, the Jabbawockeez, will be returning as well. They will be showcasing a horror-themed special effects dance show.

The Walking Dead Rollercoaster

The Walking Dead rollercoaster which was formerly known as X – No Way Out, is located in Thorpe Park, England. The rollercoaster is the parks first ever non-powered ride. It’s an indoor experience that’s inside a pyramid shaped building. The coaster features a crazy array of lights, music, and of course zombies. The rides designer, John Burton, watched 150 episodes of The Walking Dead in order to create the them of the ride. He spent hours of endless research not only for the ride but for the zombies.

The Walking Dead Ride

Usually rides have a theme and that’s all, but this one is a bit different. You start off by trying to get away from Walkers and make it to a safe zone. The whole premise behind the ride is “Those who ride…survive.” The zombies make the whole experience even more realistic. Will you survive the zombies as they try and turn you into one?
