Halloween Island Of Dolls

If there’s one thing that most of us can all agree on is that dolls can be really creepy. A Houston couple ended up running with that idea and created their own creepy Halloween island of dolls. Imagine going by a house and seeing over 200 dolls, heads, and doll bodies sitting there. Would you be creeped out or would you think it was cool?

That’s the case for a Houston couple who have been getting a huge buzz after their Halloween décor has gone viral. It looks similar to the haunted island of Dolls in Mexico, the place where locals say is haunted by the ghost of a girl. Many say the dolls come to life on that island at night, it’s not the kind of place you would want to go alone to.

Pineapple Halloween Lanterns

The newest trend seems to be Pineapple Halloween lanterns and they’re really cool. Each year people keep finding new and exciting ways to celebrate Halloween. A few years back it was Halloween Wreath, and then it was the Doll in The Hall. Now someone has taken it a step further and decided to carve a Pineapple like you would a pumpkin.

You don’t have to replace your pumpkins with pineapples. You can still carve a pumpkin, but why not throw in a pineapple into the mix? Pineapples already have cool features, so adding a spooky face to them makes them that much spookier.

Is It Hard To Carve A Pineapple Halloween Lantern?

The process of carving a pineapple Halloween Lantern is very similar to that of a pumpkin. You follow the same process however, unlike the inside of a pumpkin, you eat the pineapples left over. In the videos below you’ll see how you can accomplish it.

The Best Decorated Halloween House

For the last 9 years, New Orleans Ghost Manor house on Magazine Street has been a must-see during Halloween. The manor is a Queen Anne Victorian built-in the year 1892 by Moise Waldron. The house has passed through numerous owners throughout the decades. In 2015 a video shot from a phone was displayed on FaceBook and got over a million views. Since then the house has been a must-see for all those who love Halloween displays.

Each year the display gets better, from the technology to the decor. It’s one of those displays that really are a fit for the area. In 2015 they added coordinated lighting effects and skeletal animatronics. It’s a must-see display if you’re in the New Orleans area during Halloween.

Save Money This Halloween

Every year around this time we start to look for ideas for those D.I.Y Halloween ideas. We like to find ways for you all to save some money while also getting the best deal for your dollar. We all want to have an awesome display, but not all of us have the money to spend a ton on crazy animatronics and props.

So today we found a very cool video by Happy Haunting on things you can get at a thrift store so you can create an awesome display without destroying your finances. You never know what you’re going to find at thrift stores, and sometimes it may not even be Halloween related. However, with a bit of creativity and ingenuity, you can turn things you find into some spooky décor.

There are times you’ll find Halloween décor that others never used for dirt cheap. On certain occasions, you may find parts of Halloween décor that you may get for even cheaper you could utilize in your projects. Whatever the case may be, check out the video below so you can get some more ideas.

Haunted Cat Mansion

Halloween isn’t only the time of year that humans get dressed up and enjoy the festivities. Our pets like to get in the action, sometimes we dress them up and other times we buy them things like haunted houses.

Wait, what?

Yup, Target has a two-story haunted cardboard mansion that you can get for under $20.00. There’s a scratchpad built into the floor of the mansion so your cat will have some fun. The top floor is open so the cats get a “cats eye view” of things… No pun intended.

The haunted cat mansion isn’t very hard to assemble either. It only takes a few minutes to set up, so no worries about how you’re going to assemble it. Have you ever bought your pet a Halloween costume or something similar?
