The Halloween Slide

With Covid-19 showing no signs of slowing down, we have to find ways to celebrate Halloween in a safe manner. People have been practicing social distancing, washing their hands, and taking other preventative measures. Those measures are now being used in creative ways so children can at least have a decent Halloween. The YouTube DIY channel, Wicked Makers, is here to help out. They have created a way that gives at least 6 feet distance between trick or treaters and those giving away candy.

Jaime and Jay of Wicker Makers have come up with a pretty cool and easy DIY Halloween prop so you can social distance while trick or treating. The candy slide is 6 feet long and ensures that kids can be safe and far away when they go to get some candy. There are a lot of towns that don’t want people to go out trick or treating, but for others, this is a safe and fun way to keep the tradition alive.

In the video below you’ll see how they make the skeleton slide with PVC pipes, spray paint, wrapping, and a few more supplies. You can even become creative and create your own version of the slide. It doesn’t have to be exactly like the one in the video. In the meantime, check out the video and let us know your thoughts.
