If you’re an avid candy fanatic like we are, this post will get your sweet tooth’s attention. Candy Funhouse a Canadian candy company is offering up to $100,00 annually to fill its chief candy officer position. Sounds like something out of a Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory doesn’t it?
One candy enthusiast will be able to work full or part time from home. The only bad part is that you have to either live in either Toronto, or Newark, New Jersey. If you’re lucky enough to be in one of those cities, you can apply for the position. The position is open to anyone 5 years and up, so parents can apply on behalf of their children.
You have until August 31 to apply for the job. Over 100,00 applications have been sent in since the listing started a few weeks ago.
Job duties include testing over 3,500 products over the course of a year. The applicant will try about 25 to 30 a month via the company’s website. The lucky person will also be in charge of various other parts of the candy making decisions.

While this position sounds amazing, I still can’t believe that a company would pay so much money for a candy position. Then again the listing says it’s not all fun and games, you have to take it seriously. So for those of you who think you’re diving into the world of Willy Wonka, you might want to take a second look. Then again getting paid 6 figures to eat and work with candy doesn’t sound like a bad gig. It beats delivering packages for some company that doesn’t care about you 6 days a week, but that’s just me.
